Moon Nightclub and the N9NE Group here in Las Vegas showed their support for the earthquake relief efforts in Haiti by hosting a special nightlife charity event on Tuesday night.

The event was hosted by celebrity DJ Joel Madden. A portion of the nights proceeds went to benefit the UNIFEF Tap Project, which is endorsed by Nicole Richie and Madden himself. UNICEF Tap works with its partners to reduce the number of people without access to safe water and basic sanitation in the world.

“All the money that Moon Nightclub is going to donate to UNICEF tonight is really going to help and go a long way,” say Madden. “I’m so happy and thankful to Moon and the Palms for doing that for UNICEF, and it makes tonight even more fun.”
