Both Christina Aguilera and Nicole Richie ring in the new year the right way in Las Vegas at TAO and LAVO at the Venetian and Palazzo hotels.

For those of you fashion gurus, Aguilera arrived on the red carpet in a Moschino dress with Stephen Webster jewels and was joined by her husband Jordan Bratman, her sister Rachel and her dancers. Staying true to the tradition of most celebrities visiting TAO Nightclub, Christina and her gang first ate at TAO Asian Bistro’s private dining room before heading upstairs to her skybox at the nightclub. That’s when the party began.

Extremely excited to ring in the new year in Sin City, Christina Aguilera hopped on stage a few minutes early to get the crowd going. She hosted the count-down and pronounced “Happy New Year” before running off stage to give her husband a special kiss to start of her new decade.

Next door at LAVO Nightclub Las Vegas, Nicole Richie hosted the event while Joel Madden was by her side. Richie wore a gold low backed dress of her own collection called “Winter Kate.” She took to the catwalk at LAVO just before midnight to snap some pictures of the crowd with her camera to post on Twitter. After counting down to 2010, she hopped in the DJ booth with Madden to spin a special set for the packed nightclub.
