Blue Man Group



Three bald and mute men painted in blue and dressed in black, a percussive repertoire, and some everyday items including breakfast cereal and crepe paper; these are not by any means the typical ingredients to a successful Las Vegas show. However they are the main components of "Blue Man Group", a show that has proven to be not only a success but a burgeoning phenomenon. Originally created in 1987 by Matt Goldman, Phil Stanton, and Chris Wink, "Blue Man Group" is essentially performance art in high gear. Each multifaceted "demonstration", involving music, miming, and creative movement, provides comedic and theatrical entertainment, all the while perpetuating a social commentary on todays technological age.

LOVE

If you haven't heard already, "LOVE" is the latest creation from Cirque Du Soleil- a thrilling dance and acrobatics performance set entirely to the music of the Beatles. But don't be mistaken! This isn't just another Cirque show slapped onto a series of cut and pasted Beatles tracks. It is an artful extravaganza, riddled with British flavor and psychedelic flare, perfectly choreographed to a masterful mix of Beatles songs and sound bites. It engulfs the audience in an aura of fantastic nostalgia for a bygone era of pop culture revolution.

Carrot Top

When Carrot Top comes out on stage there's no telling what crazy contraption he's going to pull out next, but classifying him as just a prop comic is an understatement. His wacky inventions are merely an extension of his outrageous and hilariously funny personality.

O - Cirque Du Soleil

Earth, air, fire, and water- the elements of life are the elements of "O", Cirque du Soleil's semi-submerged symphony of human bodies in motion. Consistent with all the Cirque productions, "O" showcases the incredible abilities of its performers, set in a fantastical environment and woven into a compelling storyline. However, unique to "O" is the fact that portions of the show actually do occur submerged in a 1.5 million gallon pool of water. The international cast of "O" is 85 strong and includes synchronized swimmers, divers, contortionists, and acrobats.

Mystere - Cirque Du Soleil

Cirque du Soleil's premier Las Vegas show "Mystere" has been thrilling audiences for over ten years in a celebration of beauty, innovation, and human dexterity. Its longevity is a true testament to the unavoidable intrigue of "Mystere", not only as a performance but an orchestration of human creativity.

Le Reve Las Vegas

Type: Water Feature Audience: 5 and up Nudity: No. Length: 75 minutes.

Be prepared to enter into a state of waking reverie the second you step into the Wynn Theater to see "Le Reve". Its title is French for "The Dream" and it is an artistic and multi-faceted exploration of just that. If it appears to portray a similar aesthetic to the ever-enchanting Cirque du Soleil shows, it is because it is the creative work of Franco Dragone; former artistic collaborator with the group. However, "Le Reve" certainly possesses its own unique quality, making it a spectacle not quite like any other.

KA - Cirque Du Soleil

Type: Adventure Story Audience: 5 and up Nudity: No. Length: 90 minutes.

Martial Arts, repelling, freefalling, and juggling are just a few of the stunts one can expect to see in Cirque du Soleil's epic production "Ka", but that's not even the half of it. The theater in which it takes place was designed specifically for the show, its unique features being an integral part of the performance. The stage itself is mounted on a robotic arm, allowing it to rotate and angle up to ninety degrees- (and yes, it does this while the performers are on, around, and in it).

Lance Burton

Type: Magic Audience: 3 and up Nudity: No. Length: 90 minutes.

Lance Burton is arguably one of the best magicians in the business. His seemingly innate skills in sleight of hand are complemented by masterful showmanship and good old fashioned Kentucky charm. A native of Louisville, Burton was named "World Champion Magician", by the Federation International Societe de Magique at the tender age of 22, making him not only the youngest, but the first American to receive this coveted award. And this is just the beginning of his long list of accolades, which is why it is not surprising that his performances at the Monte Carlo have been packing the house since 1996.

American Storm

Type: Male Revue. Audience: Mature, NC-17. Nudity: Yes. Length: 70 minutes.

American Storm - Americas Hottest Male Revue. If you think the summers in Las Vegas are hot wait until you see this sexy male revue! American Storm fulfills every fantasy and was recently voted "Best Male Strip Show of 2008" by the Las Vegas Review Journal. Show takes place Fridays at 10:00pm and Saturdays at 11:30pm in the V Theater at Planet Hollywood. Gentlemen are welcome.

V - The Ultimate Variety Show

V - The Ultimate Variety Show provides an amazing display of talent in an intimate, fast-paced setting. From magicians and comedians to high-flying acts and strength performers, the show is constantly reinventing itself with unique acts and rolling them all together into an ultimate mix of talent, appealing to audiences young and old. Shows nightly at 7:00pm and 8:30pm in the V Theater at Planet Hollywood.

The Mentalist Live
